Core Components of the Atomizer: Detection and Inspection of the Reasons for the Coil Burning out

1. The heating coil is an important component inside the atomizer.


The heating coil is one of the core components of the vaporizer, and its core function is mainly to heat and effectively vaporize the e-liquid. The basic principle is that the battery supplies power to the heating coil unit. The resistance wire generates heat, which causes the e-liquid and its dissolved substances around the resistance wire to vaporize and form smoke, so that smokers can achieve the effect of inhaling and exhaling the smoke. Therefore, the heating coil is crucial to the vaporizer's smoke quality and user experience.

Two mainly types of winding methods for the heating coil: tight winding and loose winding. 


The tight winding method makes the heating coils tightly packed. The advantage is that the heat generation is concentrated and the flavor is relatively concentrated. However, the disadvantage is that the cotton may be burned due to the relatively concentrated heat generation.


The loose winding method wraps the heating coil evenly around the winding rod, with a certain distance between each wire. The advantage of this method is that the heat generation is uniform and the coil is unlikely to burn out, which is suitable for temperature control or large smoke types.

A needle-shaped camera is inserted into the inside of the evaporator through the nozzle to detect the integrity of the internal structure and check whether there are any rust problems inside. When the cotton and the heating coil cannot be attached tightly, it is determined whether a burning smell will be generated.


3. Functions and Features of the Instrument

Detecting the density of the e-liquid;

Detecting the tightness of the fit between the heating coil and the cotton;

Detecting whether the surface of the heating coil is rusted;

Detecting the fullness of the heating coil cotton corresponding to different puff counts of the e-cigs;
